Graffiti My Heart! A Real Wedding, Li & Phil

Blog favourite Mandy Charlton Photography (recently runner up in the Wedding Photograph of the Year Competition over on UK Wedding Belles) sent me these absolutely wonderful shots of her best friend’s wedding.  That girl sure knows how to work with colour!

Mandy says: Li and Phil have been dear friends of mine for a couple of years so when
they asked me to shoot their small wedding I naturally couldn’t refuse!

They had decided to have a small ceremony with just their closest friends and family so after spending the morning joining in all the fun at the Royal Station Hotel with Li and bridesmaids Megan (Li’s daughter) and Christi (one of her best friends) it was off to the registry office and I have to tell you that I cried, it’s such a beautiful thing when your friends are so in love.

Afterwards it was fun aplenty as we shot a few small group shots and then off to the Graffiti wall behind the Sage Gateshead for some quirky vintage style portraits and as you can see from the images we had great fun, including the moment where a very enthusiastic busker commandeered Li and Phil, much to my amusement!
