Love Blossoms, A Real Wedding – Alex & Matt

I shared Alex and Matt’s gorgeous engagement photographs with you here on Brides Up North a few weeks ago.  Now the talented Andrew Ward Photographer is back to show off their Real Wedding shots.  Only the best for this well heeled bride!

Just gorgeous.  The weather, the blooms, that dress, those shoes (one of the best bits about being a wedding blogger is the shoe porn!). I love it all!

Andrew Ward Photographer sets the scene: The warm spring sunshine shone down for Alex and Matt on their wedding at the fabulous Dovecliff Hall Hotel. The weather was a world away from the weather we had for their engagement shoot back in December, -8 degrees!

The whole day was a really beautiful affair, the flowers they had chosen were fab, the little cones of petals for confetti, the candy buffet……

Everything was very calm and Alex was the most relaxed bride I have ever photographed! I think Alex’s main concern for the day was her old man  telling “awful Dad jokes!”, something he was told not to do on many occasions!

Alex looked fantastic in her dress, which had a lovely vintage look, and the shoes could only be Jimmy Choo’s!

The whole day was full of fun and laughter, from the beginning to end. The sun stayed high in the sky all day which gave us the chance to capture some lovely shots in the warm evening sun.
