Its In The Detail, A Real Wedding – Cathy & Chris

Brides Up North Featured Supplier, Karen McGowran Photography sent me this gorgeous Real Wedding which took place at Slaley Hall in Northumberland earlier this year.  I love the way they worked with the colours of the furnishings at the venue when choosing their colour scheme – always a good tip.   Loads of inspiring details here to feast your eyes on.

Karen sets the scene: We drove to Slaley Hall in heavy rain but I put my faith in the BBC and they were right, by 11am it was dry and promising to be a fantastic day for the marriage of Cathy and Chris.

Cathy chose a stunning Maggie Sottero dress with beautiful detail over one shoulder and she looked so stylish and classy. She walked down the aisle to her two favourite boys, Chris and their baby son Tommy and her smile said it all!

It was beautiful weather and guests enjoyed drinks and canapés on the terrace while I stole the married couple away for some romantic portraits in the Japanese garden.
