As a photographer who has shot loads of beautiful weddings, it must be extremely hard to pick just five that stand out.  Brides Up North Featured Supplier, Assassynation, gamely gives it a go.  Here are her five faves…

Over to Sassy: How do you go about choosing your top 5 weddings, it’s an impossible task.  I love them all..I know that sounds like something people say but don’t mean but I really do! Weddings excite me and I have been really lucky to be asked to shoot some wonderful weddings.  However, if I really had to choose five of my personal favourites I would pick these (in no particular order) and I will explain why. Polly and Stuarts very vintage and totally beautiful wedding in Lowestoft, chosen simply because the artiness and beauty of the whole day blew me away.  Stuart is an artist and Polly is a singer and they allowed me to use my creative skills freely…I was like a kid in a sweet shop!!

Dan and Gemma’s Farmyard Fun Day wedding was amazing, it was a low budget wedding but that didn’t mean it lacked gorgeous details.  The day was jam packed full of tear jerking moments, laughter and beautiful handmade touches.  It was a great unique day and everyone had so much fun..including
me!

Vicky and Jim’s lake district wedding was everything I look for in a wedding, relaxed, fun and intimate.  With only around 30 guests who were all seated on sofa’s for the ceremony it made for such a cosy feel.  When you follow that up with an anything goes couple shoot where Vicky even climbed into the woods in the rain how could I not love this!

Louisa and Rob’s car show come music festival packed in nearly all of my passions, tattoo’s (plenty of), uber cool cars (I am a sucker for a cool car) and camping.  Their day was relaxed and utterly awesome, with friends that were up for a laugh and provided musical entertainment, a big bonfire and fireworks.  This was a hell of a wedding to be a guest at… and I got to capture it all!

Kate and Seb’s wedding… where to start?! I will always love this one as it was the beginning of the journey to where I am now.  It was the third wedding I shot and was featured on Rock n Roll Bride.  The day was awesome, and the only rule was no group shots…oh ok then twist my arm.  All Kate and Seb wanted was relaxed unposed pictures of the day and some more arty posed pictures of them and their two beautiful girls.  Seb, a tattoo artist with a painful amount of style and Kate a tattoo adorned beauty totally rocked my world!
