As an Aussie getting married in York in September, my finace and I are determined to keep things local – our menu is 100% north-focussed; music and flower arranging is being supplied by students from York University; chair covers are from a small northern company. I’m yet to source jewellery for the wedding day, so it would be wonderful if I could also have jewellery that supports a designer from the north.

Wow. These earrings are stunning. I would certainly be a happy bunny if they became my wedding day earrings. I recently had my first experience of wedding dress shopping. I didn’t find THE dress but it reinforced my love of lace. I think that these earrings would set off a lace dress perfectly.

Thank you for being such an amazing northern blogger. xxx

I’m going for a really simple dress as I’m not one for flounces and frills, but I think it needs some really sparkly jewellery to glam it up a bit! My budget means it’ll probably be Accessorize but to win these REAL diamonds would be amazing! x

I would love to win these earings! About 6 months ago I slid on ice and pretty much broke my entire face. All my teeth were gone, nose/jaw/cheek broken and scratches everywhere. I have gone through 3 reconstructive surgeries so far but will never look or feel the way I did before this day. Our wedding has been put off for a year in hopes that I heal a little more, even if I dont I know my husband to be will always love me. it would be nice to win something that would make me feel gorgeous on my wedding day and these earings would definitely help with that!

I’ve always wanted to feel like a princess and this is the perfect way. My honey and I are both graduate students with very limited income, so winning something like this is the only way we could afford it. I would love to win something so beautiful that I could treasure forever and pass on in our family.

I’m always the bridesmaid and never the bride.
I have a family wedding this Summer at a Country Manor to go to and, for once, I’d love to not look like the poor relation. I have the perfect dress to show these off and, hopefully they would sparkle so much I may just get some admiring glances.
They’re so beautiful, I wouldn’t need a wedding dress to feel special. But, if by some miracle, I ever do make it to my big day…these would be worn with pride.

I deserve these earrings and would absolutely treasure them! The reason I think I ‘deserve’ this earrings is because they would be the perfect match for my sexy ‘pick up my husband from deployment’ outfit! haha My husband will be coming home from a 6 month deployment to the desert in December. I already have the dress and heels picked out, yes 5 months ahead of time! Next step is accessorizing and these earrings would make the most fabulous match!!!!

These earrings are beautiful and I’d love the chance to win them. I am getting married in March 2012 to my sweetheart. We got together when we were both 17 and still going strong 9 years later. We have 3 beautiful children together (ages 6, 4 and 2) and we are planning a pink, ivory and lemon themed wedding with a vintage feel albeit on a tiny budget. Winning these would be the icing on the cake and would make me feel a million pounds!

Oh wow! Those are beautiful. My fiance and I have been together for 6 years and we are trying to have a small but nice wedding for under $2000, so it would be amazing to have such a nice set of earrings since we are cutting back on everything else.

I’d love these earrings as I’ve just started chemo and my hair will only just have started to grow back by the time I get married maybe the earrings might detract from my lack of hair.

My husband and I ran away to New York at the end of June to get married but didn’t tell anyone. It was a very quick City Hall wedding, and neither of us got to dress up like at a ‘normal’ wedding because it was so hot and so last minute (my husband was wearing trainers!). We’re planning a big party to celebrate with all our family and I would love to win these earrings so that I can be all dressed up and really look the part, they would look great with the dress I’ll be wearing.
