I am writing this post from my old bed at my parent’s house, having just wrapped up the third and final of the Brides Up North Tweet Ups 2011.  If you are a wedding industry supplier and would like to come along to the next set of events, please pre-register here, citing which Tweet Up you would like to attend.

Last night’s North East  Tweet Up was very busy, very pretty and very pink.  Big thanks to my team of helpers who assisted me in creating a magical and sugar laced setting.  Watch out for all the photographs very shortly, but big love to Claire De Lune Florist, Karen McGowran Photography, Sean Elliott Photography, AMV Live Music, Popcake Kitchen, Heaven Sent Cupcakes, Little Town Bakery, The Black Horse Beamish, Vintage Twee, Perfect Days Vintage, What A Do Weddings, Cute Maps and of course to Wedding Ideas Magazine for all their support in making it a fantastic evening.

One of last night’s best dressed guests was the lovely Becky Mitchell from Profile Gallery, who prior to the night had sent me over this gorgeous real engagement to share with you on the wedding blog today.

Over to Becky: David is from Leeds and Hannah grew up in Saltburn. They met through mutual friends just over a year ago and their first date was a Mumford and Sons gig in Leeds.

The couple spent a lot of time going for walks around the country side, the Valley Gardens in the beautiful sea side town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea being a particular favourite, so when I suggested heading down to the woods with a bunch of balloons in tow they thought it was perfect. Plus the wild garlic was in flower and it smelt divine.

Dave proposed to Hannah on top of Danby Beacon on the Yorkshire Moors.  They got married at Danby Castle on 1 September 2011 {wedding photographs coming soon to Brides Up North}.
