The day before Christmas Eve, this wedding blogger was feeling super stressed. There were invoices to send, invoices to pay, blogs to write, emails to answer, a scary server switch (which happily, now has the wedding blog running far speedier!), rooms to tidy, a huge pile of unwritten Christmas cards, bags to pack, presents to wrap and I still hadn’t finished my Christmas shopping. Result: Near festive meltdown. They could shove their mince pies where the sun doesn’t shine as far as I was concerned.

Then *ping!* another ruddy email.

But suddenly, there was calm. Then some shouts of glee. Christmas was back on!

Thank you 4Beauty for making it all seem worthwhile, as Brides Up North, along with some other fab blogger friends, was recognised in their Best Wedding Blogs 2011 roundup as the Best Wedding Blog for Northern Brides.
