Brides Up North On Tour: See You This Weekend Newcastle!

Occasionally (ok, really quite often – I’m not really one for sitting still) I like to get out from behind my computer screen and head out into the big wide World to meet up with my readers and industry friends.  The online space is great for gathering inspiration, ideas and leads, but there’s nothing like meeting people in person or touching, trying and tasting.

Basically, I want to know what I’m talking about, ensure that the content on this blog remains relevant, real and useful to my readers – hello there! – and make Brides Up North as accessible as possible.  I’m always only an email away (get in touch – I can point you in the right direction and put you in touch with the right people for almost any wedding query), but there’s nothing like a good in person chinwag, is there?

That’s why I (and my little team) take such time and effort to plan and produce the best (we think!) bridal exhibitions and wedding industry networking events across the regions, so that our readers and industry friends can connect in an environment jam packed with talent and innovation.  And it’s also why I choose to support selected industry partners at their bridal events across the North.

This weekend I’m heading to Newcastle to join my friends at The UK Wedding Shows (and watch out for me at their first ever conference later in the year!) for a weekend of wedding wonders at their big Metro Arena event on the banks of the River Tyne this weekend, Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th January 2013, from 10am – 5pm every day.  Come and find the Brides Up North team at stand 119, where we’ll be on hand for all the wedding tips and advice that you could ever need – just ask – and giving away some special Brides Up North goodies. It would be lovely to meet you, so drop by to say hola!

We’ll also be dropping in over the weekend to see our great friends and supporters Dandy Events at their inspirational showroom event on the Scotswood Road.  This is just a stone’s throw from the Metro Arena, so if you are popping into that show, give your groom some sugar and make sure to visit Denise and her team too.
