August 6th, 2014 | Julia Braime
I’ve spent the past two days in the company of the delightful Ms Charlotte Balbier, working on a really exciting new project that we’ll be unveiling very shortly. News soon, I promise.
Charlotte is such a lovely person, and I think her beauty and grace is reflected in her gorgeous new collection of wedding gowns for 2015, which I am delighted to share on the wedding blog with you this morning.
Made even more special by the fact that this collection contains two dresses designed and worn by this newly wed for her very own wedding day (you can see Charlotte and Teddy’s breathtaking wedding just blogged over on my friend Annabel’s Love My Dress blog yesterday), I’m proud to present the ‘Iscoyd Park’ Collection.
Charlotte says: I launched my 11th Charlotte Balbier collection, ‘Iscoyd Park’ at White Gallery London in April. It has been much anticipated and inspired by my very own wedding at Iscoyd Park in December 2013.
The collection was designed with love and is close to my heart. Drawing on such personal and emotional inspiration I was more nervous than ever at the launch.
The collection has been wonderfully received by my brand partners, the bridal boutiques, the press, those most dear to me and my brides. The two signature gowns, ‘Charlotte’ and‘Iscoyd Park’ worn on my wedding day are my favourites and firm favourites with brides.
It is so thrilling and wonderful to think brides will also share the magical experience of wearing my very own wedding gowns.
The Iscoyd Park collection is made up of over twenty new gorgeous gowns in an array of styles to suit the modern day bride, her wedding and style and sees fashion forward gowns that are forward thinking sitting alongside Charlotte’s signature style and look.
The collection presents classical elegance and timeless gowns that never go out of fashion in array of styles, silhouettes, fabrics and a soft gold, pink and ivory colour pallette.

Former lawyer and bride to be Julia founded Brides Up North in 2010 with a chip on her shoulder. Frustrated by the poor Northern presence in glossy bridal magazines and online, she decided to do something about it herself. Astounded by the rapid growth of her blog and brand, Julia now manages Brides Up North’s online content alongside their busy wedding exhibition season, industry events and related commissions. And she’s always, always, got a new project on the go…
