Well it certainly ‘tis this season for a celebrity wedding with the likes of Nicky Hilton, Declan Donnelly and Peter Andre all hot footing it down the aisle over the past few months.
Among the summer’s star-studded weddings we saw gorgeous actress michelle keegan tie the knot to her TOWIE beau Mark Wright, at the stunning Hengrave Hall.
Ex-Corrie star Michelle has it all– gorgeous hair, makeup, tan, wardrobe and to top it all off, a killer figure. It’s no wonder then that we were all eager to see the perfectly-polished couple’s big day spread across the pages of Hello magazine – and we weren’t left disappointed.
Michelle left both fans and industry professionals blown away by her fabulous choice of dress, hair and makeup, which resulted in a truly glamorous wedding day look.
So for brides-to-be keen to make a similar impact during their moment in the limelight, today we explore how to mirror Mrs Wright’s amazing style.

Michelle’s figure-hugging dress was custom made by designer Galia Lahav and featured detailing in elegant French lace and sparkling Swarovski crystals. To show off the star’s fine figure the dress gripped all the way down to just below Michelle’s thighs were it expanded into a silk tulle fishtail. The wow-factor of the design though had to be its lace-trimmed, deep-V back, exposing a sexy yet dignified amount or flesh.
Brides wanting to replicate Michelle’s look will need to be body confident as there’s no space for hiding lumps and bumps in such tight-fitting fishtail designs.
So if you consider your bum and back among your best assets, an almost backless gown like Michelle’s is a great way to turn heads. Look for designs with pretty lace edging and delicate embellishment to hold guests’ gaze.
Meanwhile if your lower back is an area you would rather cover up, there are plenty or gorgeous strapless fishtail deigns, similar to Michelle’s that will enable you to show off your chest area and shoulders instead. Asymmetric gowns with pretty corsage detailing provide another attention-grabbing alternative.

Part of Michelle’s trademark look are her gorgeous long locks, which she usually wears down apart from during her gym sessions.
Keeping true to her red carpet style, Michelle wore the majority of her hair down on the day with just a small amount on the top swept off her face and secured at the back, which created a glamorous bouffant. To finish classy Keegan wore a floor length Italian veil, which provided a traditional touch to her modern styling.
Both practical and pretty, the hair style is simple to achieve and suits both mid and long length locks.
Michelle had a few loose sections in the front which framed her face and added volume, while the rest of her thick, wavy hair tumbled elegantly over her shoulders.
Depending on the type of wedding, brides can choose whether to copy Michelle’s look exactly by adding a veil or to leave the style to speak for itself.

When it came to her makeup Michelle also stuck to her signature style of bronzed and beautiful, opting for a radiant and glamorous look.
As a girl that sports an all-year-round tan, Michelle’s look was sun-kissed whilst still remaining natural. After achieving the perfect base on Keegan’s flawless complexion, her fabulous cheekbones were highlighted and sculpted using a bronzey blush.
A fan of HD brows, Michelle’s beautifully defined eyebrows draw attention to the upper half of her face where a golden shadow has been applied to make her dark eyes pop. Black liner to upper and lower of the eyes and lashings of mascara are then used for maximum impact.
The lips are kept fairly natural in a light brown/dusky pink colour with a slight sheen to it for the ultimate Hollywood smile.
