We just love to see celebrities’ elite fashion efforts at red carpet events as they battle it out for that ‘best dressed’ title, don’t you?
As such we were totally hooked to this week’s coverage of The British Fashion Awards, which provided plenty of ‘ooohhhs’, ‘aaahhhs’ and a few ‘eeekkks!’ as some A-listers raised the style bar sky-high, whilst unfortunately a few others barely lifted it off the ground (notably Chloe Green, please get-a-bra).
Celebs we swooned over meanwhile included singer Pixie Lott, in a skimpy yet flattering little white number, actress Kate Beckinsale, in an elegant draped black dress, and American model arizona muse, who most certainly lived up to her surname and who will be our celebrity spy subject for today!
Taking a quick glimpse at her outfit, it’s easy to see why she caught our attention – her dreamy crop top combo would make the most gorgeous bridal separates, right? Initially we thought Arizona was wearing a full circle skirt on her lower half, but further research suggests it was actually a pair white silk palazzo trousers, making it both a pretty and practical option for brides!
So without further ado let’s see how Arizona’s red carpet look could be translated to the aisle.
The elegant tummy-grazing top and high-waist, wide-leg trousers worn by Arizona are by Ralph & Russo, which she accessorised with De Beers bracelets and earrings, and a cute little structured clutch, for just a hint of sparkle.
The embroidered, structured box top with luxurious embellishing provided gorgeous detail and interest, contrasting beautifully with the plain, loose trousers which had movement and grace.
While some bridal designers are starting to experiment with trouser options for brides, they might still prove a little challenging to find, though there are plenty of stunning top and skirt separates starting to emerge, giving ladies options beyond the dress.
For those wanting to mimic Arizona’s look, keep the detail on the top and team with a plain, floaty garment on the bottom half. Alternatively, there are differing separate combos: detailed on the bottom and plain on top, detailed throughout or plain top-to-toe. The decision is yours.
Keeping her dignity (unlike some of the other celebs at the awards) Arizona’s outfit gave just a flash of flesh at the midriff, which again brides can easily mirror. Although if feeling brave, or marrying abroad, ladies might be tempted to bare a little more skin with a shorter crop or lower waist skirt. There is also the option to cover up completely with separates that overlap each other, meaning this really can be a look worn by all.

For her hair and makeup, Miss Muse went for another style that is currently proving popular with brides – vintage.
Timeless and elegant, Arizona’s glossy finger wave curls make her look like a vintage starlet of the silver screen. Pinned to perfection, this glamourous do can be achieved with hair of varying lengths, which makes it an option for many brides.
To make the look a little more bridal, we suggest adding an antique style headpiece or hair slide.

As mentioned Arizona opted for a vintage Hollywood style of makeup with perfectly polished skin, smoky eyes and a classic red lip.
Those wanting to create a similar look should aim to get the perfect base and highlight the cheekbones for extra definition.
To frame eyes, brows should be filled with a pencil or shadow, and a palette of soft brown tones used on the eye lids for a sultry look that’s not too heavy. Liner and lashings of mascara to finish.
Finally lips lined and filled with a red pencil will have extra staying power upon which to apply a red matt lipstick complementary of your complexion, whether it be a deep berry or punchy poppy!
