If you follow us over on our social networks, you’ll have seen that we’ve been enjoying the most sensational season of Brides Up North events!  Thank you so, so much as always to our visiting brides, grooms and entourages and also to our amazing wedding industry suppliers for making both events extra special. They are really the loveliest of days!

If you’ve missed out on the pretty so far (or if you want the chance to do it all again!) you don’t have long to wait! Today I’m proud to tell you about our annual Luxury Bridal Show taking place THIS SUNDAY Sunday 20th May 2018, from 12pm till 3pm, FREE ENTRY at the absolutely stunning, private stately home wedding venue that is Middleton Lodge, near Richmond. This is our final show in the area for Spring 2018, and we are definitely finishing on a high!

We are proud to be working once again with award winning venue Middleton Lodge (only the best for our readers!) to bring you a beautiful wedding show with a selection of 40 of the region’s best bridal exhibitors at this exclusive venue. And the show’s even better than ever this time around!

Not only will the sensational Main House and Garden Marquee be open for exploration and inspiration, but we’ll be debuting Middleton’s newest event space – the ever so stunning Fig House and Kitchen Garden!  Trust me when I say that you need to see this for yourself, but in the meantime you can click here to read more.

Even if you’ve already got the venue sorted, with every detail covered from gowns to garters via floral displays and photographers, this should be a day for every soon-to-be-wed’s diary!

Julia Braime
Former lawyer and bride to be Julia founded Brides Up North in 2010 with a chip on her shoulder. Frustrated by the poor Northern presence in glossy bridal magazines and online, she decided to do something about it herself. Astounded by the rapid growth of her blog and brand, Julia now manages Brides Up North’s online content alongside their busy wedding exhibition season, industry events and related commissions. And she’s always, always, got a new project on the go…
