Victoria Warehouse, a completely unique, entirely innovative event space based in Manchester. The venue, located in Trafford is just a short journey from the city centre and very easily accessible via motorway, rail and tram links.Tell Brides Up North about the venue, what is its history and how has it changed over the years?
Built in the early 1900’s as predominantly a cotton storage facility, our warehouse buildings have stood as a symbol of this city’s industrial strength and innovation for around 100 years and careful renovations have made it a venue to capture the imagination.
What facilities does it have?
A truly unique venue, with exposed walls, stone floors and a rustic feel, the simplicity of the space provides a blank canvas upon which you can design a spectacular setting for your day. The industrial pillars and original brickwork have been lovingly restored to reveal a striking backdrop across two rooms, that is ideal for both traditional and contemporary celebrations.
Is Victoria Warehouse licensed for civil ceremonies, and what rooms are available for the rest of the celebration?
We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies in The Bays and The Cotton Sheds.
The Bays is our versatile event space within the Victoria Warehouse Hotel. It provides a stunning backdrop for weddings, the raw industrial aesthetic is ideal for both contemporary and traditional ceremonies and due to the richly historic nature of our building. The Bays can hold ceremonies for up to 300 guests with dining for up to 250 guests. Evening receptions can increase to 300 guests across both Bay 1 and Bay 2
The Cotton Sheds combines a raw and urban backdrop (a setting inspired by the Industrial Revolution), with the glitz and glamour of your wedding. With exposed walls, stone floors and a rustic feel, the simplicity of the space provides a blank canvas upon which you can design a spectacular setting for your day. The Cotton Sheds can hold ceremonies for up to 1,500 guests with dining for up to 900 guests meaning its the perfect venue for large multi-cultural celebrations.

Can guests stay over at your venue?
We have our own hotel on site. From the outside, a solid Mancunian landmark, on the inside it’s an urban oasis of calm and comfort. Adorned with East Asian artisan trinkets and full of character, our unconventional hotel complements both the architecture and history of Victoria Warehouse and provides truly unique wedding photo opportunities for you and your guests. Our industrial chic style rooms celebrate the character and original features of the warehouse and are perfect for your wedding party to get ready on site or for your guests to stay overnight.
Tell us about your catering services?
We offer in house catering services through our trusted and award winning catering supplier; Grape and Grain Catering Co. Winners of ‘Best Outside Catering Company’ at The CHS Awards 2017, they provide us with outstanding service, creative imaginative menus and delivery of fabulous events of all types.Grape and Grain Catering Co. pride themselves on their products, passion and creativity, offering clients with different bespoke options from; simple and stylish catering solutions to extravagant dining experiences.
What is the feedback like from couples that have married at Victoria Warehouse?
We have received a great number of fantastic reviews, many giving compliments to the venue itself and testament to our staff who helped all the way from the very first enquiry. People love the mystery and historical base of the venue, and how much history has been preserved in modern, vintage and classy manner. Of course the nature of the building is quite different to the modern buildings, but that’s what gives us our edge and that pushes people to look beyond just the space given, because you really can and truly transform each room whichever way you want it.
