It’s a S U P E R S U N D A Y weekend at wedding blog HQ as we bring you not one, not two, but THREE fabulous Brides Up North Luxury Bridal Shows across THREE regions. Brides Up North is on tour in Yorkshire, the North East and Cheshire this Sunday 2nd April 2017, with one aim only: to bring a whole lot of beautiful to our bride to be readers, and send you home excited and inspired, VIP Media Pack (including the brand new issue of UNVEILED Magazine, hot off the press!) in hand. All events are, of course, FREE ENTRY.
hilltop country house
First up, we’ll be descending upon Hilltop Country House and filling Cheshire’s prettiest exclusive use venue with wedding inspiration. It’s going to be fabulous!
Hilltop’s just a little bit special. A stunning, exclusive use, family home with seriously gorgeous gardens, a pristine permanent marquee, rooms on site and a civil license, book nothing till you’ve seen it! Add the region’s very best wedding supplier stars – this line up is an absolute knockout – and we’ve a recipe for another crazy beautiful day. Are you in?
Approached by a long tree lined drive, Hilltop lies in the centre of fifteen acres of private land. With four enchanting reception rooms, wonderful views, formal gardens and woodlands, Hilltop is an oasis of peace and tranquility situated half a mile from Prestbury Village in Cheshire, providing the perfect location for your special day.
And if that’s not enough pretty for you, we’ll also be at the sensational Lartington Hall this Sunday too, at the slightly earlier start time of 11am till 3pm. This absolutely stunning, private stately home, exclusive use wedding venue will be dressed to the nines and full of a handpicked selection of super chic exhibitors.
Lartington Hall has quickly become one of the most sought after country house wedding destinations in the North of England. Having been lovingly restored, the Grade II listed building set amongst 78 acres of romantic parkland is now equally stunning on the outside as within; housing an opulent collection of ceremony and reception rooms, luxurious, boutique style accommodation and its very own private chapel.
The quality of the restoration and attention to detail is nothing short of spectacular; from reclaimed venetian marble floors and regency antiques, to Nina Campbell furnishings and state-of-the-art Bose sound systems, the old and new have been blended together seamlessly.
For weddings, the impressive country house, which combines the glamour of The Great Gatsby with the grandeur of Downton Abbey, becomes couples’ very own rural retreat for their special day, with exclusive use of the entire building for just them and their chosen guests. Helping to bring the perfect package together, a wedding specialist, stylist and, of course, a butler, will be on hand to assist brides and grooms with their every wish.
Expect stunning styling, perfect interiors, all the details from fine art florals to bridal fashion, cakes, photographers, stationers, live music and more. The whole of the Hall, including it’s beautiful Chapel, bedroom suites and gardens will be open to explore and enjoy. If you haven’t found your venue yet (or even if you have and just fancy some serious wedding inspiration) then we would love to see you there. Register now!
And last but not least to complete a simply stellar line up, our team will be at the beautiful Denton Hall from 11am till 3pm. This is Yorkshire at it’s finest.
As your very own exclusive-use country house for the weekend, the team at Denton Hall pride themselves on meeting your needs with a personal touch. Denton Hall blends its rich history with a bespoke, flexible modern-day service – including a Michelin-starred fine dining experience courtesy of award winning Box Tree Events – to ensure that your special day is as successful, enjoyable and memorable as possible.
This Sunday, we’ve enlisted the help of 25+ luxury wedding exhibitors who plan to fill it’s stately rooms with wedding inspiration to help make your day even more perfect.
Watch out for the Hall’s many charming features including a spiral staircase, hand-crafted genuine vintage Mouseman oak furniture, Adam style fireplaces and ceilings and crystal chandeliers. There are also 24 newly-refurbished bedrooms and two luxury suites – including an elegant bridal suite.
We’re giving away up to 150 free Bride To Be media packs at each event, filled with glossy magazines and treats from Brides Up North, plus the brand new copy of UNVEILED Magazine. As demand is high, to pick up your VIP bag all you need to do is register using the link below.
While stocks last.
We would love to welcome new exhibitors and old friends to the Brides Up North family in 2017. We are now accepting exhibitor bookings for all of our award winning luxury wedding fairs across three regions. Exhibitors will be strictly limited by category and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
January 6th, 2012 | Julia Braime
The day before Christmas Eve, this wedding blogger was feeling super stressed. There were invoices to send, invoices to pay, blogs to write, emails to answer, a scary server switch (which happily, now has the wedding blog running far speedier!), rooms to tidy, a huge pile of unwritten Christmas cards, bags to pack, presents to wrap and I still hadn’t finished my Christmas shopping. Result: Near festive meltdown. They could shove their mince pies where the sun doesn’t shine as far as I was concerned.
Then *ping!* another ruddy email.
But suddenly, there was calm. Then some shouts of glee. Christmas was back on!
Thank you 4Beauty for making it all seem worthwhile, as Brides Up North, along with some other fab blogger friends, was recognised in their Best Wedding Blogs 2011 roundup as the Best Wedding Blog for Northern Brides.
And so it came to pass, 2011 was the year that 4Beauty saved Christmas.
Huge thanks once again to all my wonderful readers, sponsors, wedding industry friends, technical team, fellow bloggers and friends and family for making the writing, maintenance and growth of this wedding blog possible. The Northern Revolution rumbles on…
