Now this event I really am very, very, VERY excited about – we’ll be at Ramside Hall Hotel, Durham next Sunday with over 90 (yes, that’s nearly 100 – you read that right!) of the region’s finest wedding industry suppliers in attendance, from wedding dress boutiques, to fabulous flowers, to event dressers, to magicians, and it’s all there for YOUR benefit. Free of charge (yes, you read that bit right too).

Brides Up North: UK Wedding Blog . . . Is anybody else already dating cheques and forms for 2013? No? Maybe just me then! Christmas isn’t even properly upon us and I’m already . After a total sell out and record attendances (hurrah!) for all our ten shows in 2012, my little team here at Brides Up North HQ and I are expanding to bring the bridal lovely to as many of you as we possibly can in 2013. Isn’t that nice?! . We’ve added an extra two dates to our North East schedule, a couple more across our already amazing Yorkshire line-up and we are set to visit the North West and bonny Scotland in 2013 too. It’s going to be an epic road trip, packed to the max with wedding inspiration from the regions’ very finest bridal suppliers at some seriously swish wedding venues. Just the way we like it. . More on the full schedule later, but for now, I wanted to let you know about our first two huge wedding exhibitions in the North East this Spring. Brides Up North: UK Wedding Blog . . . Brides to be, some dates for your diaries if I may! . After just closing a super successful and inspirational Autumn season of Brides Up North events (we do do ‘em best, even if I do say so myself), I can’t believe that we are already looking ahead to 2013 here at Brides Up North HQ. My inbox is already absolutely awash with enquiries from the regions’ best wedding suppliers, reserving their places at what look set to be an absolutely smashing series of Brides Up North shows in the New Year - I think I might be up until the early hours this evening! I can’t wait to get planning, and to see you – my lovely readers – at one or more of our events. Do say hello if you see me! . You know I’ll be reminding you about each and every one of these fabulous dates nearer the time, so for now, just mark ‘em in that calendar, and get on with browsing the rest of the pretty I have coming up for you on these pages. Brides Up North: UK Wedding Blog . This wedding blog post comes to you a little later than scheduled as I’ve been out styling a shoot and running around the wilds of Sheffield for these very pages with some lovely industry friends of mine… India Hobson Photography, Ashley Tyrrell Make Up Artist and Jane Elviss of Pashmina Rainbow. . I’m lucky that I found the time to get out to play with pretty things, as I’m working 24-7, round the clock and through the night (quite literally!) at the moment preparing for the Brides Up North Super Showcase Grand Wedding Exhibition THIS VERY SUNDAY at Ramside Hall Hotel, Durham. . I’m blown away by the level of support that this exhibition has received from the finest in the North East Wedding Industry and the show is a COMPLETE SELL OUT, with OVER 100 of the region’s best decking out two massive function rooms at the venue from 12pm – 4pm on Sunday. . What’s even better is that the event is TOTALLY FREE to enter, and you can bring along as many guests as you like. In fact, this is the largest free bridal event in the North East. Wowsers! . So large in fact, that SKY Channel 201 have asked if they can come along to film it for their new show My Romantic Wedding, and Don’t Tell The Bride are using the wedding exhibition as a hunting ground for new brave grooms to be.
