Our first blooming and beautiful bouquet from Brides Up North Featured Supplier and regular contributor Sarah of Yorkshire florist Leafy Couture is quite literally like a breath of fresh air on a melty January afternoon.

Sarah says:  As a florist I have had a love hate relationship with gypsophila, its tiny little white delicate flowers have adorned the petrol stations and supermarket bouquets of the world for years. However I have of late found my love for this versatile little cloud of pretty.

.

It is super popular with weddings and has been slowly floating into themes for a while now. I love it used en-masse with it billowing everywhere. We dressed high wooden beams with it for a wedding once, like fluffy clouds above the wedding breakfast. It looks great tied in bunches on pews with pretty ribbon, in old zinc containers and in silver or clear glass. We have it in mini milk bottles in the workshop today and huge silver urns.

It looks like snow, it feels delicate and pretty and is perfect for your wedding bouquet. We finished this bouquet with delicate lace and pearl pins. Little ones could wear a circlet of it in their hair to match.  Just gorgeous.
