Now this event I really am very, very, VERY excited about – we’ll be at Ramside Hall Hotel, Durham next Sunday with over 90 (yes, that’s nearly 100 – you read that right!) of the region’s finest wedding industry suppliers in attendance, from wedding dress boutiques, to fabulous flowers, to event dressers, to magicians, and it’s all there for YOUR benefit. Free of charge (yes, you read that bit right too).

Is anybody else already dating cheques and forms for 2013? No? Maybe just me then! Christmas isn’t even properly upon us and I’m already going mad looking ahead to the New Year, and a very exciting season of Brides Up North events especially for you brides to be coming right up!

After a total sell out and record attendances (hurrah!) for all our ten shows in 2012, my little team here at Brides Up North HQ and I are expanding to bring the bridal lovely to as many of you as we possibly can in 2013. Isn’t that nice?!

We’ve added an extra two dates to our North East schedule, a couple more across our already amazing Yorkshire line-up and we are set to visit the North West and bonny Scotland in 2013 too. It’s going to be an epic road trip, packed to the max with wedding inspiration from the regions’ very finest bridal suppliers at some seriously swish wedding venues. Just the way we like it.

More on the full schedule later, but for now, I wanted to let you know about our first two huge wedding exhibitions in the North East this Spring. These are set to be the biggest FREE ENTRY (yes, that’s right, we’re not whacking on a price tag for our readers!) bridal events in the North East with the cream of the region’s wedding vendors – over 80 per show (closer to 100…). Each show will have two professional fashion catwalks and will be buzzing with exhibits for you to browse and book. After just closing a super successful and inspirational Autumn season of Brides Up North events (we do do ‘em best, even if I do say so myself), I can’t believe that we are already looking ahead to 2013 here at Brides Up North HQ. My inbox is already absolutely awash with enquiries from the regions’ best wedding suppliers, reserving their places at what look set to be an absolutely smashing series of Brides Up North shows in the New Year - I think I might be up until the early hours this evening! I can’t wait to get planning, and to see you – my lovely readers – at one or more of our events. Do say hello if you see me!

Get ready for another bumper weekend of wedding inspiration people! There are absolutely LOADS of bridal events across the regions this weekend, but I have a few special shout outs this morning for some great bridal events brought to you by lovely people that I love to work with.

Even though I run my own branded (and rather brilliant, even if I do say so myself) wedding exhibitions, I still like to support my industry friends and colleagues who do the same for me – and plus, I get to bring you news of all the shows that you need to see.
.
First up, brand new Brides Up North Featured Supplier Beamish Hall are holding a wedding fair this very Sunday 14th October at their lovely hotel in County Durham from 11am – 4pm, and it’s free entry too. If you are still on a venue hunt, make sure to pop in and say hello to the team.

After that – hop in the car and hot foot it across to Belle Bridal Magazine’s White Wedding Wonder Show – at Sunderland AFC from 12pm – 4pm. With 100 exhibitors, some fab goody bags (with Green & Blacks, Choccards, Paul Mitchell, Gosh Cosmetics and organza filled sweeties from Love is Sweet Company) and an opera themed fashion show – this is well worth the £2 entry fee!
