Today’s styled wedding shoot spotlights two stunning bridal collections from a boutique in North Lincolnshire.
One look boasts a retro rock-chick vibe while the other delivers a pared back dose of vintage glam, but they do have one thing in common – they focus on the stacks of fun that’s to be had on your special day.
A collaboration between Richard and Christine of Kazooieloki Photography and Osh Gosh Gowns – the photo shoot took place in the spectacular setting of Rise Hall in Yorkshire.
It has to be said, sometimes such a majestic and polished backdrop can be overwhelming, but as this shoot perfectly showcases – with a little imagination (and a few props!) – you really can make your wedding venue whatever you want it to be.

christine says: We initially met with Wendy Ashton, owner of Osh Gosh Gowns in Scunthorpe (one of North Lincolnshire’s leading bridal suppliers) in early October where we discussed the idea of a joint collaboration, and we soon realised something quite exciting could happen.
Wendy’s vision from the very beginning was to create a shoot in the image of her belief that a wedding day should be fun and full of smiles. This was something we quickly jumped on board with, because although we love our art, our documentary style of photography captures so many natural, happy, real moments. Wendy was looking at expanding her business in to Yorkshire and with us being from Hull – we teamed up to work our magic.
The shoot promoted Osh Gosh Gowns’ incredible Brighton Belle by True Bride range of superb vintage styled T length dresses and also the super stylish 2017 Morilee by Madeline Gardner range.
These two very different styles gave us two distinct styling ideas. For the Brighton Belle dress, we instantly thought of the Brighton seafront Mods and Rockers theme, which perfectly suited the vintage dress design, so we decided on shooting the brides on classic Lambrettas.
As for the Morilee range – what else could we do but something stylish, simple and elegant?
The photo shoot took place at the beautiful Rise Hall, which needs no introduction. Rise Hall was made famous by Sarah Beeny, who restored this magnificent building to its former glory as part of a Channel 4 series in 2010 called Beeny’s Restoration Nightmare. It is now a premier wedding venue in East Yorkshire.
Our hard working collective excelled on creating a look that was superb and exactly what we were looking for.
Make-up artist Natalie Kate created quite a natural, understated beauty look for our brides that worked beautifully with their more extravagant accessories and hairstyles.
Xandria’s Hair, meanwhile, done a fantastic job creating classic dos with a retro twist – the gorgeous blonde beehive was one of our favourites on the day.
