Last Tuesday I spent the afternoon at Bamburgh in Northumberland with Brides Up North Featured Supplier and wonderful photographer Mandy Charlton Photography, rocking my wedding dress and creating some beautiful art to feature in her forthcoming “Dressing Up” photography exhibition.

After a fun drive up the coast and a quick change in the castle car park (the things I do in the name of blogging!) we headed over the dunes and down to the beach…

After an intense posing session interspersed with telling curious dog walkers all about Brides Up North and Mandy’s exhibition it was out of my fab frock (how I have missed you!) and back into the car down to Newcastle, stopping for a diet coke break on the way. An afternoon well spent!

beautiful photos and a stunning location – you must have been freezing cold though!
Thank you so much. It actually wasn’t too bad! Julia x
Just gorgeous! Bet you had so much fun! (I had my Rock the Dress shoot on Saturday and loved it!) The photos are dreamy, I love the shots of your veil flying in the wind…the second to last shot is my favourite, so pretty! x
Thank you so much, it was great fun. Would love to feature your shoot here if you are interested! 🙂
Julia you look amazing!

Thanks so much honey!
There is only one word for this – LOVE!
Julia – do you have a close up of your hair? I’m loving it for my w-day?!
R xx
Send me your email and I will send you one. It was done by my own fair hands using clip in extensions by Jessica Simpson and Ken Paves.
These are amazing! You look stunning 🙂
What a fabulous way to spend a day – I bet you loved being in your dress again Julia.
Great photos xx
Nearly got married there myself, beautiful place 🙂
