So.  I am off to London this weekend (in fact I’m just about to jump on the train as you read this).  I’m meeting some people, seeing some friends for a long overdue catch up and queuing up for a very special exhibition.  Yes!  I’m off to see the Royal Wedding dress on display at Bucks House.  I can’t help it.  I can’t stay away.  I can’t wait!

Alas though, the friends I am visiting happen mainly to be stinky boys.  They will not entertain the idea of coming with me.  I have tried to reason with them that nay, this isn’t a dress, it’s a piece of history!  To no avail. They see through that argument.  After all, I’m not exactly suggesting (nor ever have ever suggested anything even similar to) a trip to the Tower of London, am I?  Nor am I really all that interested in the rest of the exhibition…

So, my friends, this wedding blogger is going it alone.

And you know you what?  I’m rather looking forward to it.  A morning jaunt to the Palace will be topped off by a swift sprint down the King’s Road and a stop off at Topshop Oxford Circus.  When in Rome!
