It’s Wednesday afternoon – which means it’s all downhill to the weekend from here!  Yippee hoo haa!  And if that wasn’t all, the happiness continues with another blessing counting session, right here right now.

If you are a new reader wondering what the heck this wedding blogger is on about, the concept is simple.  A fortnight ago after a really rather lovely first anniversary break with my husband, I sat down and drew up a list of the ten things making me happy right now, there, in that moment.

I asked you to spend a moment counting your own blessings and send them over to me to share with the rest of my readers on the wedding blog.  As I said last week, this feature has had a massive response and I have really enjoyed reading your happy lists!  I am planning to feature a new happy list every Wednesday in the run up to Christmas, so join in the fun and email your own feel good factors over to julia@bridesupnorth.co.uk.

1  Walking in the house and having the kids shout "Daddy!" while hugging my legs (well, the eldest just grunts now but that’s ok!)

2  A kiss and a squeeze from my wife

.

3  Visiting somewhere new and having a family adventure!

.

4  Getting an email from a happy couples whose wedding I’ve photographed

.

5  Knowing as soon as the shutter clicks I’ve just taken a killer shot

.

6  Bottle of wine, cuddle on the sofa, good movie

.

7  As above but with music

.

8  Finding a really cool app for the phone (yes I know…geek!)

.

9  Buying something frivolous and silly

.

10  Custard! Ready made posh stuff with real vanilla pod in it that I can eat straight out the tub! Yum!
