Something a little different this evening on the wedding blog, as The White Room Sheffield explore a very different look for their most feminine of wedding dresses. Whilst I personally prefer The White Room Sheffield’s usual more clean and classic styling of these high end designer gowns, I think it’s interesting that this gothic take on frothy ivory tulle and the purest French lace actually kinda works.

Chloe from The White Room Sheffield explains the concept behind the shoot: For our third photo shoot in as many months, were asked to be part of a very gothic take on bridal, orchestrated by the lovely Emma at Orchis Florist, right here in Sheffield.

We decided that ‘vintage’ was been done to death and it was nice to see gowns in another way… so we took three of our favourite gowns to a very cold manor house in Sheffield and this is the end result! It was great to see just how versatile our gowns can be, and how they pop with even the most blood red lip and Tudor inspired hair.

We shot Cymbeline’s new diffusion range "Pour Une Oui" and our lovely gown "Oui 3" a high neck lace gown which we paired with our mantilla lace veil. Wigs and Warpaint not only did an amazing job on the hair, but made the nails look exceptional!

We paired the usually very fun and flirty "Fauvette" by Cymbeline with DC Bouquets "Vivienne" and "Natalia" headpieces and Rachel Simpson "Mimi" shoe.
