    This competition is incredibly generous!

I am planning our wedding on a very small budget and would love to be able to tell our groomsmen and bridesmaids that I can gift them their outfits, and they don’t have to pay for a thing! They have supported us through the entire planning stage and they deserve to look top-notch without shelling out a single penny. This competition could make this happen and it would be amazing to win. I am desperately looking for a registry office appropriate dress and Brides of Harrogate feature some incredible gowns. The Mr obviously deserves to look his best too and you’ve covered that also! The winner will be the best dressed wedding party around 🙂

Wow, what an incredible competition. We are getting married in April next year and winning this competition would make an enormous difference to our plans. I sadly lost my dad to cancer in 2008, and in his memory we are planning our wedding to be held on what would have been his 64th birthday. For this reason, I am sure there will be more tears than usual, but we really want to make it a truly special and beautiful day so that he can look down on us and be so proud.

My other half, and our wedding party have all been there to support me over these difficult years and to be able to reward them with such an amazing prize would be out of this world.

I would love to win this prize, it is an amazing offer.
I think I deserve this prize as I have been with my other half for 10 years now, and only just got engaged last year on a beach in cyprus. We don’t have enough money saved up to even think about a wedding to be honest. But this would be a great help and then we can finally get things moving and get down the aisle to say I DO. would be great after so long of being together. We have been through so much together and it would be great to have something to look forward to, and have the date set in writing. 😀

Wow what a prize. Why do I deserve to win? Compared to some women I probably don’t! I never win anything in fact I’m rather unlucky! I have a 6 month old son who absorbs all of our money right now. Our wedding budget isn’t small it’s not existent. It’s hard to justify spending money on an amazing wedding dress when there is something else my son needs. If I won it would grant me the ability to get married in a luxury dress like I (modestly) deserve. Every women should be a princess on her wedding day if I won it would make it possible xxx

Thank you for Brides up North for this opportunity, We really would feel on top of the world if we were lucky enough to win this amazing prize. After postponing our wedding for another 12 months due to a very unexpected arrival of your little girl in November 2011 we are really struggling to scape our funds together in order to pay for our wedding. After spending the last 5 months (and probably the next 18 years) running around looking after our little one, it would be fantastic to feel pampered and special in a beautiful dress that ordinarily we would not be able to afford. All in all, I cant wait to marry my amazing man and make our new little family complete. Again thank you for the chance…. xx

It would be an honour for me to win this wonderful wedding package as i would be able to invite my sisters to be my bridesmaids and stay at my civil ceremony venue instead of having to leave immediately after we wed.

My parents lost their business in the recession so unfortunately I’m paying for my own wedding. I’m currently not having a “wedding party” because of cost of outfits, I’m looking at buying a second hand dress and although I’ve booked a beautiful National Trust property for the ceremony (it’s a dream – they filmed Pride and Prejudice there), we can’t afford to hire it for more than a quickie ceremony.

I don’t want to give a sob story as I realize there are so many brides who have to save for their own wedding but the additional savings will mean we can afford to stay in the beautiful grounds and offer our guests the chance to raise a glass with us. It would change our day completely.

Also, I’m a true Yorkshire girl and having lived in Harrogate and Leeds, i have walked past Brides of Harrogate and Conffetti and Lace, you may recognize me from standing in the window gawping! My fiance is also gorgeous so he’ll look amazing in a Yorkshire Menswear outfit!

what a fab prize!!!! all the brides comments so far show how much each one of us deserve to win for special individual reasons,i wish everyone the best of luck!! My special reasons for deserving to win are as follows: myself and my wonderful partner are very much in ove,we have both previously been married sadly they didnt work,we met each other through friends and realised pretty quickly that we are soul mates-meant to be together!we just want to get married!!! we have had a tough 2 years, with neighbours from hell, illness and job losses, however we are determined not to let this dampen our spirits or enthusiasm!we keep going to wedding fayres to cheer ourselves up!! both our previous ceremonies were very small registry office affairs with none of the usual wedding planning/preparations! we are so much in love and truly just want to get married and spend our lives together, to be able to get married in my own gown and give my bridesmaids their own dresses would be a dream come true for me!! I know mike(my partner) would feel very much the same regarding the menswear;but he doesnt know i am entering this competition!! if i was lucky enough to win i would love to surprise him!!

Thank you so much to Brides Up North and the Suppliers of these gorgeous prizes. I have been with my partner for seven years now. We have been engaged for 8 months and at present we have no budget for a wedding and are thinking of 2015 to get married so we can save. We have been through so much together, at 25 he was taken to hospital for an operation on his heart which was incredibly hard for both of us as neither of us have family here so we supported each other through this very hard time. He also moved to the North of England purely due to my job offer – which may be common in these times of recession but for a young guy to sacrifice that, it is highly commendable and I would love to show him that our luck has changed by winning this fantastic prize. It could only be a good omen for our future life together!

I am getting married in August next year to my best friend, we have been together 9 years and got engaged last year. We are fusiously saving for the wedding and the budget is looking tight and we havent booked anything yet. I have three special people in my life that I would like to be bridesmaids but my research so far tells me I cant afford 3 dresses, never mind my own. It would be great to win this amazing prize. I know everyone has a story and I wont go into details but luck isnt really something my family has a lot of! Hopefully this will change the trend!

    Wow, what a prize!
I would love to win this, my partner and I recently got engaged and straight away started a savings account, our wedding will be in April/May 2014. Every little girl dreams of their big day as I have, ever since I dressed up in a pair of my mums net curtains at age 5! Luckily my tastes have changed and I now dream of that perfect outfit with my bridemaids by my side, walking down the aisle to the man I have loved since I was 18 years old. I would love to win this prize, as would any other of these beautiful ladies because it would just be a dream come true – perfect!

WHAT AN AMAZING PRIZE! My partner and I are supposed to be getting married in May next year in Cyprus, though currently its on hold due to lack of finances. We are trying to buy our first home and financially a wedding has become a bit of a none starter. A prize like this would be a dream, it would make things much more easy. We’d be able to save so much money and may even be able to get our wedding booked, instead of just wishing as the date gets closer

It would mean the world to mean to win this prize! What started as a simple affair, I’m now arranging a huge wedding and every time I have a tipple I end up asking another friend to be bridesmaid! With 6 lovely girls to please, and a beautiful flower girl, the prize would really help to reduce my stress levels! It would also ensure that the guys look desirable on our big day, as I fear leaving my better half to decide on the suits will result in disaster- no disrespect Daffyd! Best of luck everyone xx

WOW what an amazing prize! I don’t know who wouldn’t feel that they deserve something like this, as everyone is likely to be struggling with finances recently. I personally love that people are still going for it and scrimping and saving to be able to say ‘i do’ despite not being able to afford all the expensive trimmings! I am getting married in April next year, and we are having a budget affair which we are saving for ourselves. This would be a major boost for us and while i’m excited at the prospect of having a luxury dress, the bridesmaids dresses and men’s suits would be amazing as all of our guests are travelling to north wales so it would be lovely for the wedding party not to have to pay for outfits as well. Good luck to everyone *fingers crossed* 🙂

I don’t think I can say that I ‘deserve’ this prize any more than anyone else who has commented. However, I can say that I ‘want’ this prize! I am due to get married next August to the lovely Llwyd. He is a PhD student, so is permenantly skint :O) and so money is the only downside of planning our big day. To be helped out so generously with clothing would be a wonderful boost and lift part of the burden of budget. I’d love to be considered to win this prize, as would my 3 bridesmaids!! Please pick me!!!! haha goodluck ladies. x

Myself and my partner, Luke have been together for 3 years however it has been a rollercoaster to say the least. 2 years into our relationship i had to have a kidney transplant, Luke was my rock before and has been post op. 3 weeks later Luke proposed to me on my 21st Birthday. We want to get married however financial difficultes make it hard as i’m currently on sick due to having the transplant. Winning this competition would take the pressure off of the small budget which we are working with. We have been through the worst now we look forward to building our future together. 🙂

I have known my fiance since we were 13 years old, when we first met and fell in love we were in separable, but after 4 years together we seprated for reasons i now regret .
In time we both met and married other people but still had a great love for each other and when my marriage did not work out I tried to fine him but was un lucky. However after 28 years my look changed .
As soon as we set eyes on each other the feelings came flooding back and it was if we had never been apart and was very qiuickly in separable again , we knew we could never be apart again.
We so desperately wish to marry and make things as they should have been ,winning this prize would mean we could have the wedding we should have had and make our dreams eventually come true

All I’ll say is, I would LOVE this prize for myself, groom and my family because they’ve been such a support to me over the last few years, I suffer with mental health problems and was hospitalised around christmas, And despite all the worry, tears and fear for me. my family pulled together and got me through the bad times. I would love them to see me shining and for us all to have a massive great big family do and celebrate new beginings.

Such an amazing prize would make what is already going to be a fantastic day even better! I’ve been with my partner now for 5 years and he means the world and more to me. I’d get married to him in a binbag, and whilst this would certainly be more memorable, having a beautifully suited and booted wedding party would make the wedding album far more attractive!

I’m not sure if I can say I deserve this prize more than any of the other brides-to-be, but I can say that like every other lady I want to have the most perfect wedding. I went to ‘brides of Harrogate’ (as i only live down the road) to look at dresses and unfortunately couldn’t afford to buy one so had to settle for a second hand dress instead because of cost. It would be just perfect if I could have my own dress chosen just for me.

Who wouldn’t want to win this prize and if we are not in it, then we can not grumble if we don’t win.
After having been a single parent for 20+ years after the chidrens dad left me I am getting married again. I had always said that i would never re-marry as i believed that marriage is for life and that it would be hard to trust someone again. Now i have found that special person. I am trying to organise & buy as much as i can now on a very restricted budget – the wedding isnt till 2014, so we have a couple of years to sort it, plus I cant expect my mum to pay ! I am checking ebay daily and looking out for bargains, especially where the dresses are concerned so winning mine & 3 bridesmaids will really help as i would love all my best friends, my 2 daughters & grand-daughter to be bridesmaids, – sorting out 8 will be tricky… I may be an older bride but still wish to be a princess for the day.
Good luck to everyone who has entered.

Me and my husband to be have been together for 5 1/2 years since I was 14. We got engaged july 2011 after years of issues such as family deaths we can finally focus on our relationship. We are hoping for a small intmate classy wedding in 2014 which concentrates more on the meaning of marriage rather than the actual day. With a larger gathering on the evening to celebrate our new life together. We would love to win this prize and it will contribute massively to our speacial day! Good luck for everyone!! All the best. x

I think I deserve to win my wedding because after 3 miscarriages I finally gave birth to a beautiful daughter but she was premature. We had to rush to buy all the bits, as we thought we still had 2 months. I had to leave university half way through my final year to look after her and at the moment we don’t even have our own house. We don’t have a lot of money and are scrimping and saving for the wedding but its difficult with a newborn, bills, etc when you’re a student with very little income. Winning my wedding would take away some of the stress and after all we want our dream wedding because it will be one day where we don’t feel like we hold the weight of the world on our shoulders and that for one day we can enjoy ourselves without worrying about money.

Hello, We would love to win this fantastic competition because
    * We would like a fantastic day and winning this would contribute to this
*My mum would like to buy me my dress but she doesnt have a lot of money so this would save her a lot
*We would like to share my day with my family and get them involved so would love to have all my niece and cousins girls as bridesmaids meaning 10 bridesmaid so this would help contribute
*We would love to start off our married life without having too much debt left over from getting married so this package would really help
*We are also never lucky enough to win anything like this so this would be amazing if this was to happen.
Thanks for taking time out to read my reasons.

Just looking at this amazing prize and thinking of what I could possibly say to give me a chance to win…after reading the other posts it appears to be a tough competition! Me and my fiance are going for a ‘DIY’ wedding to try and keep the costs down as we are saving for a deposit on a house after years of renting! To help we have decided to make our cake, design and print our own invitations, decorate our venue from scratch, make favours for our guests and create our own flower displays, buttonholes and bouquets!!! I am desperately fine tuning my craft skills but have to admit that one skill is still lacking…dress making!!! I think my family, friends and most importantly my fiance would be eternally grateful if I could win a dress and suits for everyone because the alternative ‘black bag’ homemade outfit isnt exactly the theme we were going for 🙂 I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed…

I am a Northern girl living in a Southern world 🙁

I grew up in the North West but 3 years ago I left to be with my now fiance, who was stuck down South for work. Living in the South (Brighton!!) is so expensive (you could get a 5 bed house up North for what we’re paying for a 1 bed flat!) and a lot of our hard earned pennies have to be spent on living costs.

If I were lucky enough to win an incredible prize such as this, I would be able to put money we’ve saved for a outfits into other areas of the wedding – particularly things for the guests who will have travelled 300 plus miles to spend our special day with us. I would love to arrange transport from the ceremony to the reception for them, and treat them to complimentary wine during the wedding breakfast, and possibly even provide Out of Town bags with extra goodies.

I would love to have the chance to show my guests just how much I appreciate them joining us from so far away. After all, without them, it just wouldn’t be a proper wedding!

Thank you for the opportunity to win such a wonderful prize x

What an amazing competiton, I think i deserve to win, we have been engaged since May last year and are finding it very hard to save up for the wedding as with 2 children there is always something needs paying for! I have become kind of obsessed with all things wedding since the day we got engaged and im beginning to think if we cant get married soon my fiance will leave me due to my obsession lol.
We havnt set a date yet due to financial difficulties at the minute but this would be a huge weight of our shoulders and im sure would give us the boost we need to actually plan ahead.

I lost my dad to cancer in 2008 so on one hand the thought of getting married without him there is heartbreaking but on the other hand I am so in love with my fiance that it is something we both definately want to do.

I am entering this without my fiance knowing so if i was lucky enough to win it would be a huge surprise for him, fingers & toes crossed! x

I would be absolutely thrilled to win this prize and have the wedding of my dreams which is booked for December 3rd. At the moment I am doing all of the hairs and make ups, my own flowers and making my own cake as we are on such a small budget. This fantastic prize would definately take some of the pressure off and allow me to be the bride rather than beautician/florist/cakemaker! It would be unreal. I have 3 gorgeous bridesmaids and 2 delightful flowergirls that I would really love to do justice xxx

I would be absolutely love to win this prize, and what a fantastic prize it is. I have been with my partner over 10 years, and have 2 gorgeous children. We have been engaged 7 years and altough when we looked into the price of getting we always decided we could no way afford it.. Well only about 6 weeks ago we finally took the plunge and booked our venue, but due to trying to keep the costs down we have got a very minimal wedding party, which this prize would be a great help with as we could then have who really want in our wedding party and not just the very few weve had to go with due to expense. Although I have my fingers crossed, I wish everybody else good luck too x

After living my dreams, im now sharing new ones with the man I love! winning this prize after my hard work of dieting like a maniac and piecing together the wedding of my dreams would very much be the icing on an already sweet cake 🙂
I’ve heard great things also about Brides of Harrogate and seeing as I am getting married so close by it would be lovely to be able to buy locally.

Good luck to everyone else and have a lovely W day.

I’m getting married in Harrogate in September, so would love to be fully suited and booted by these wonderful local, Yorkshire suppliers . Our clothing budget is currently very low and although my gorgeous bridesmaids and our best man have offered to buy their own outfits – it would mean a great deal to us to be able to provide these for them. Good luck to everyone.

I would love to win this prize as we are struggling to be able to afford everything for our wedding, particularly the outfits. I would love to be able to give the bridesmaid’s and groomsmen’s outfits as a gift, as they have been there for us during so many problems for many years and they deserve it. Winning would also mean we would have a budget to buy our parents a real thank you gift, for all the time, love and patience they have shown us (well, me) during some very dark times. This marriage marks a new start and I want it to be as perfect as it can, as I have found the perfect person to share it with.

    Shes been dreaming
    ’bout her wedding dress
since she was a little girl..
    white with lace, and flowing,
    accents made of pearl
    Mother watches daughter
    trying on the dresses….
her daughters now a future bride
    and the older one confesses,
she sees that little girl, again..
    her eyes sparkling with joy,
    playing bride in bedroom sheets
    and dreaming ’bout a boy….
She grew up…she met a man
who swept her off her feet..
they fell in love,he proposed to her,
    and now her lifes complete…
    Daughter’s eyes are dancing, now..
    shes found the perfect fit…
    mother smiles proudly..
    This one’s surely it..
    Daughter turns to mother
    I love it-watcha think…??”
mother grins , she love it too,
then gives the girl a wink..
    And in that very moment,
    mother sees the change occur,
    standing, now,in front of her
    a woman – not a girl.

Oh wow, what an amazing competition. I have been reading this blog for quite a while gathering wedding ideas and there is some very beautiful ones. I would absolutely LOVE to win this package. My fiance and I have been together since we were both 17. I move to Australia with my parents at the 5 and moved back after a very rough few years in August 2001 at age 16 and 6 months later I met Stephen and we have been together since. We have 3 beautiful children together, aged 3, 5 and 7. We were supposed to be getting Married March this year but we lost a baby a few months before late into my pregnancy. We have gone through so much, homelessness, baby loss, my parents divorcing and my stepfather living with us for 18 months but more than 10 years on, we are stronger than ever. Our wedding date is now the 17th September, exactly 6 months after our 10 year ‘anniversary’ of the 19th March. Our eldest is also so very excited that we are finally getting married. We are on a small budget but we will be doing it and winning this competition would be it all the more special.

I think this is amazing competition I deserve to win because I just want to get married but cannot afford much at the moment. This is due to me being a law graduate and having spen a fortune on my education cannot afford anything for my wedding next year. The whole thing is after having a degree in law cannot even get a legal traineeship so unfair cause I have worked so hard. I have been saving like crazy though with a temp job as a pa I will never afford to get married . It’s a tough time for everybody finacially at the moment, especially those of us tightening our belts to save for a wedding. Whoever wins it is very lucky. I never win anything and I’m not sure that I ‘deserve’ to win this, but you have to be in it to win it… It’d certainly help us out a lot to ease the financial pressure. 🙂 Good luck everybody, and I hope everybody’s big day is everything they wish for. 🙂

We have 3 bridesmaids and 3 Groomsmen and for us all to be looking incredible for the photos, would be a memory we would cherish and never forget!

Me and my partner Daniel met three years ago and the relationship has been an amazingly fast whirlwind, he swept me off my feet and I have never looked back!

We got together in the January, moved in together in the April, it was a relationship that just felt right from the beginning.

We haven’t had it easy though, it has been a pretty rough ride. When we met I was looking for work and as you know it is pretty tough out their! I managed to find a job in the April but when my 6month review came round, the company wasn’t busy and they let me go, it was such a shock!

Daniel is a self employed photographer and mainly does work for furniture, jewellery companies, golf courses, beauty salons etc. He met a guy at a business for breakfast meeting who told Daniel he was looking for a PA…perfect you would think!!

I started working for this guy in October, along side Daniel doing his photography for him. It was going well and I was working from home, travelling with him to meetings and training courses. But we started to get worried around Christmas when he had hardly paid me or Daniel a wage (he was saying he was having a few difficulties, so of course we gave him the benefit of the doubt!)

As Christmas grew closer the list of excuses for not paying either of us grew longer, I started to get really upset as our first Christmas together should have been amazing but instead we where left wondering how we where going to afford to keep paying the monthly rent along with all our other bills!

Our first Christmas turned out to be a very quiet one, we couldn’t even afford presents for each other, and we got through it only because we have such good family around us! It got to a point at the start of the new year where I had to sell my car…my gorgeous mini cooper that I had saved up for and bought outright. I had no choice it had to go so we could afford to live!

We tried to look forward from then onwards, forget about the awful crook who ripped us off, and I again started to look for work while Daniel tried to do as much as possible to keep us afloat!

Towards the end of February we had a lovely surprise…I was expecting our first child! Finally we had something positive to look forward to! The year continued to get better as I again found temporary work in April and the company made me permanent in July.

I started my maternity in late October and our gorgeous son, Harry James was born on the 19th November 2010, we where now an amazing little family!

The next Christmas bound to be so much better, our new son and surrounded by family, and you know what, it was, Daniel proposed to me in front of all our family over Christmas dinner!

While I was off on my maternity a house came up for sale in the small village I grew up in and where my Dad still lives, me and Daniel went to look at it and thought it had great potential! We put in an offer and was ecstatic to find out it was accepted, this meant we could live in the village and pay a mortgage towards something we own for less that what we where paying each month in rent.

This next bit is why we need your help…all our savings had to go on the deposit for a house, with deposits being so high at the moment it was again left to family to help us get the full amount for the deposit.

So now we have no savings, this was our only opportunity to get on the housing ladder and we had to grab it!

After getting the keys for the house it was clear it needed total renovation from top to bottom, luckily my father is a self employed joiner so of course he was already expecting to do the vase majority of the work. However this left us with another problem, the house is in an unliveable condition and we could not afford to carry on paying rent and a mortgage.

So we have had to packed up and for the past year we have been living with Dad, we have taken over his once peaceful house with lots of baby toys and noise, his conservatory is now full with the contents of our last home. Also as you can imagine trying to live in one room with a small baby is quite testing!

We would just love the chance to become one family, and we know that with the savings gone, building work continuing and never ending bills the chance of us paying for a full wedding is very slim to none for a very long time, is there any chance you could help us??

This is a very generous prize and I think any bride-to-be deserves to win this and each has there own unique story to tell so before I leave my comment I wish everyone the best of luck and hope you all have amazing wedding days. My day is never going to be the day I planned as I lost my dad in november 2011 2weeks after his 57th birthday to metastatic pancreatic cancer which was so agressive it took him within 8 weeks of him finding out, Although I got to say good bye and he passed away holding my hand Ive still lost my best friend and that has changed everything, his funeral has put a massive strain on our budget as I have been left to pay it all off meaning I have no dress or bridesmaid dresses as yet and the way things are going our wedding in july next year may have to be called off until we can start saving again, but my dads funeral had to be the best as to me he was the best, neither of my parents will be there as I dont speak with my mam so have no financial help from the family so it would be a dream come true to win this prize.

Wow, what an amazing competition! It would be fantastic to win a gorgeous wedding dress alone so to have all your bridesmaids and groomsmen catered for as well is a great opportunity! I’ve never been one for entering competitions before as I always think ‘what are the odds that it’s me’ but after getting engaged and hoping for my dream wedding next year I’ve realised the cost soon adds up and this competition is too good not to enter! My wedding is on a very tight budget and this would help make my dream day come true! I can’t say I deserve it anymore than all you other brides and whoever wins this competition is one lucky lady! I can’t stop looking at that dress in the second picture, it’s absolutely stunning! Good luck everyone 🙂

I think we deserve this prize as I am planning the wedding on my own while looking after our 10 year old and 7 month old while my future husband works hard defending our waters. Jase is in the Royal Navy and during his deployment to Iraq, I realised that there is no possible way I could ever live without him. Having him away with the Navy is really hard (especially given that he was in Portsmouth when I went into labour in Leeds with our son at 4 in the morning!!!) but life with him makes it worth it. Winning this prize would be like an award for all the lonely nights planning the wedding without my wonderful sailor. Winning this prize would also make him so happy and our sons will look amazing in their suits beside Jason in his uniform.

I would love to win this prize. I met my fiance during our college years and it was love at first sight, we have been together ever since and it is now coming up to 11 years. He is always there for me and we would love nothing more to celebrate our love in front of our family and friends and get married. We had managed to save a nice amount of money to hopefully get married in summer 2013 however just as we were about to first book the wedding date a couple of weeks before xmas my dad became ill wilth heart failure and we had to postpone our plans as the future was uncertain, i am really close to my dad and his health was more of a concern, he got alot better in the new year and is now on correct medication. Myself and my fiance then had a chance to think about our wedding again and decided we would continue to book and go for the date we had planned in 2013. In the March this year my mam left my dad for another man and they are currently going through a divorce, my world as i knew it has shattered and again the wedding is on hold as i may have to use my wedding money to help my dad pay for the divorce. I have been very depressed lately and when i heard about this competition it gave me hope that if i could save on having to buy these items i may still be able to have my 2013 dream wedding.

I am entering my daughter Rebecca for this competition,(she doesnt know). Her and her boyfriend have just announced their wedding date for June 29th 2013, this date just happens to be me and my husbands anniversary (it will be 28yrs) and also my mum and dads (they will be 52yrs) and also it was my great grandmothers anniversary date too). Rebecca contracted pneumococcal meningitis at 4 months old was told she wouldnt survive the night , she had a guardian angel with her and pulled through but left her profoundly deaf in her left ear and severe in her right, six weeks after coming home she developed pneumonia and again got better. When she went to school she got bullied and i had to move her to another school. She has also been diagnosed with poly-cystic ovaries She is now nearly 21yrs old got a job and passed her driving test, I am really proud of her. Her boyfriends mum died at the age of 48 due to cancer, so i think to win this for them both would be fantastic and a real surprise. i am so proud of her achievements.

This competition is fabulous!…its everything I could dream of!
I think I deserve to win this competition as this year has so far been very tough!….I had to cancel my wedding which was suppose to be on 26th August 2012 due to my fiances business going bust. I have also had to become part carer for my dad after suffering a heart attack at the age of 46 aswell as look after my 3 beautiful boys and work full time in a hospital!
This competition would mean that I could set another date for my wedding (ASAP) and I would get a dress I really want instead of an ebay bought wedding dress and I could have my sisters being my bridesmaids =)

Hi, I believe i deserve to win as due to a big family I have 8 bridesmaids!!! Confetti & Lace is such a beautiful shop and it would be a dream to win this competition! It goes without saying that it would be a huge weight lifted off the shoulders of whoever wins as organising a wedding is stressful whoever you are! To have the bride, bridesmaids and menswear sorted would mean we could get to relax and really enjoy the planning of the wedding not just the day itself x

Here’s hoping the wedding fairy is looking down on us…Good luck lovely ladies! x x x

I believe My Fiance and I deserve to win this prize because we are planning a wedding in just 9 short months. We have picked a date in 9 months because my Fiance is currently serving in the Army and stationed in Afghanistan. In order to finally be able to live together when he gets home from Afghanistan the marriage must come first so we have pushed up the date! I am extremely excited and cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with him but, Weddings are not cheap and we have no savings for the close approaching date. This prize would mean the world to me and would would help immensely in being able to achieve this dream of marring and finally being able to see the love of my life everyday.

I am writing to nominate myself and my wonderful man for the wedding compition.

Our paths have only crossed due to the tragic circumstances that we have met.  We met through an online support group for young widows.  We both were happy marriages before our spouses were cruelly taken away from us.  He makes me feel life is worth living again.  We can totally be ourselves with each other and we know that our lost loved ones will always play a massive part in our lives. I never thought I could find love again but John completes mine and the children’s world from what I thought was shattered beyond repair.

What an amazing prize! I have been with my lovely man for 5 years now and like most cost is a massive issue for us. We have a wedding in our heads for around 2015-2016. Aggges away I know but this is due to him taking on a lot of financial burden so I can begin training to be a social worker. Money is going to be very very tight from September and I can just keep seeing this becoming a more and more distant memory! Knowing that I can still have my dream Justin Alexander dress and that our wedding party will be well dressed would be amazing. This would really lift the burden for us and take a lot of pressure off us to be able to have our dream wedding closer than we think!

I would love to win this giveaway because we have put our wedding off for over two and a half years so we can better ourselves professionally. A lot of couples enter marriage quickly instead of enjoying this stage. Although we have enjoyed it, I would really like to finalize our wedding plans, but we have no idea where to start. This would be a wonderful starting point! Thank you so much for this opportunity.

This prize, this competition is so special and exciting! I am just an average girl who in the past six months since I have gotten engaged has been floating in the clouds….. I am going to marry the man of my dreams and I really feel like I have found my prince charming and my inner princess is coming out!!! To win would be the icing on the cake, it would make an already unforgetable day for me and my family an event you wouldn’t dare to dream of being so good, and it would add so much fun an excitement for my wonderful man and his family. He already created a wonderful, surprise engagement and this would be the ultimate way to repay him,

I would be incredibly grateful to win this prize because my fiancé, Brendan and I are going through a tough time. Brendan is a chef and works through an agency, so he has no guaranteed work week to week. This was okay except for the quite times because I worked a good full time job. However, I have recently lost my job, and whilst I am working hard to find another job, I have not had any luck so far. We have some savings but losing my job is going to eat into this and we have no idea what we are going to do to fund our wedding planned for 1 June 2013. We have booked our venue and registrar, but we still have to book everything else. Any help towards our wedding down would be amazing!

Every bride deserves their dream dress and perfect day regardless of the reason and I’m sure every bride to be will have the most magical time of their lives regardless of winning or losing, small budget or endless wads of cash… I don’t have a real reason about ‘deserving’ to win.. other than Wow a designer dress up for grabs and I WANT it. It’s a selfish reason.. but an honest one. Good luck to everyone 🙂 x

This would do so much for our wedding if we were to win. For a long time I didnt even contemplate getting married because of the cost! but this year I decided to propose to my boyfriend with it being a leap year and all that!! he said yes! we are on a very tight budget (i dont even have an engagment ring yet!!!! ) and as my parents are unable to contribute, (not that it matters, In this day and age its a luxury for a brides parents to be able to pay for the whole thing) we are saving all our spare money for the party of our lives. I am looking at having to buy a second hand dress at the moment as I have quite expensive taste as it turns out lol! dont we all! so to have a brand new dress would make me very happy! To save on the pennies already I am making all of my decorations from scratch, im in the process of collecting material for my bunting and jars and bottles for the table decorations. I have a friend to help me with my cake and even designing the invites myself! Its going to be a lot of hard work but im very excited and im sure we will make the day perfect. my dream wedding dress would be the icing on the ‘wedding’ cake!!! xxx

I would like to win this fantastic prize , I met my future husband just over a year ago and we have set a date to get married next year. he is so special , he has been accepted by my 5 children and 2 grand children as part of the family and I was accepted by his mum from day one , even though I was so nervous as I am 9 years older than my beloved husband to be. To win this would be amazing and would help us so much, I am having my best friend and my daughters as bridesmaids and grand daughters as flower girls and the best man is my futures husbands best friend from school, who hasnt seen face to face for about 20 years.

I am pretty sure my comment will fall inline with most other brides, but we are on an extremely tight budget. We are getting Married in September and along with the wedding we have decided to buy a house this month. We have decided to sink most of our money into that, considering we were blessed with twins 2 years ago July. Winning this competition would take so many things off our list of to do! Good luck to everyone who has entered and fingers crossed my name is picked!!

Good luck to everyone and enjoy all of your special days with or without the expensive trimmings! So far my budget doesn’t include photographer, flowers, transport or cake, but I’m going to roll with it and make the most of what we’ve got and enjoy having everyone together! Charity shop wedding dress, here I come!x

Hi, wow, what a generous offer
Well where to start, I would like to win this fab offer as it would help me and my fiancé immensely
Haven got together out of supporting each other in the bad relationships we were in we have always had to watch pennies as we had relationship expenses to settle from our prev partners.
We had planned to go on holiday and Marry whilst there on the cheap but I fell pregnant so that scuppered that plan lol
Another daughter later and two sets of parents spending more time at the hospital for this and that we decided now was the time as we want our precious folks there and I want my Pops to walk me down the aisle.
So far I’ve borrowed a tiara and veil, ring cushion and bought two used dresses off eBay for bridesmaids, I’ve bought some fake flowers and made my bouquet and plan to make cupcakes for my wedding cake so this beautiful prize would just add the sparkle and lushness I could never afford
    Thanks again, Helena x

I have seen my dream bridesmaid dresses in confetti and lace but we are struggling to get money to pay for them. You would make us a extremely happy bride and groom to be! Thank you x

My Fiance & I are both Lay Chaplains in Catholic secondary schools in the diocese of Leeds and as such getting married is an expensive busy when you live and work for the Church. We are both devoted to our faith & to one another. For me to walk down the aisle in a dress as stunning as the one I’d be given from this competition would be not only a blessing but a memory that will last an eternity. We have waited for one another both chasted in love and spiritually..at 27 this is a pretty long time to wait in todays world to share a bed and knowing he is the one and only makes my life complete.
