The Brides Up North team is looking forward to joining our North West brides with some special events soon, but whilst we work hard behind the scenes to bring you something incredible next year, we didn’t want you to be left out in the cold! For 16 years now, we’ve been producing Cheshire & Lancashire BRIDE Magazine, planning the annual Wedding Show at Tatton Park, and organising our seasonal Wedding Fayres. So when it comes to all things ‘wedding’, we really have got it covered!

We organise around 30 Wedding Fayres a year around Cheshire and Manchester. Our Autumn Wedding Fayre season begins on Sunday 2nd September, and then we have two events each Sunday throughout September and October.

We are lucky enough to work with some of the North West’s most beautiful wedding venues. All of our venues are handpicked to ensure a stunning setting that is a real inspiration to brides and grooms.
From spectacular stately homes and picturesque country estates, to stylish 5 star hotels, we have a fayre venue to suit any wedding day.

We also ensure that the exhibitors at each fayre are tailored to suit the venue, so brides and grooms are sure to find just the right wedding specialists for their big day.

Our exhibitors really are some of the most talented wedding professionals in the North West; we never fail to be impressed by their endless creativity and fantastic new ideas! They are also lovely people who are always more than happy to help and advise the brides and grooms who come to our fayres.

At each of our fayres, we always have two fabulous catwalk shows featuring inspirational bridal gowns, menswear and ladieswear. We also have live entertainment throughout the day. The fayres are also a great opportunity to pick up a copy of our Cheshire and Lancashire BRIDE Magazine – the bride’s bible for the North West!

At the majority of our fayres, East Cheshire Registrars join us for the day and conduct a Marriage Ceremony Presentation, which gives brides a great idea of what it would be like to get married at that particular venue. The Ceremony Presentations are dependent on the venue though, so if you would like further details, please get in touch with Hannah at Weddinglink (hannah.ward@archant.co.uk).

Entry to our fayres is free of charge, and parking on the day is usually free too. There is no need to buy a ticket.
