Here, the designer talks us through each look in the collection.
Eyes down ladies, Wednesday afternoon just got interesting.
(…and very pretty).
charlotte says: The 2016 Charlotte Balbier, ‘Willa Rose’ collection captivates a bride’s imagination with bohemian free spirited designs to take my brides on a magical journey.
Willa Rose is the signature gown from the new collection. This dress features a soft flowing chiffon skirt with a delicate floral cotton lace bodice. This gown is the ultimate boho gown for the free spirited brides.
Alexandria is a beautiful lace off the shoulder gown with button detailing down the back. The lace top-half opens into beautiful A-line layers of chiffon giving the Alexandra a fabulous shape.
Aliona has been cut into a lovely deep-plunge neckline. The back of the gown is sheer with lace detailing flowing downwards into the main body of the skirt.
Amba is one of the collection’s super playful gowns. Layers of tulle plunge into a v-neckline at the front and the back. We love the sequin detailing around the waistline.
Beth embraces the boho free-spirited bride with gorgeous floral straps embellished with hand-cut flowers. The hand-cut flowers run through the whole gown, decorating a sheer lace back and around the lower back of the gown.
Camille is all about accentuating a bride’s decolletage with a striking Queen-Ann neckline. The diamond cut adds a further wow factor to the back of the gown with delicate buttons embellishing the silk full skirt.
Cara comprises stunning sequin patterns decorating a beautiful V-neck and short-sleeved dress. Silver and ivory sequin detailing runs right down the mermaid shaped skirt.
Erin is the figure-hugging gown halter-neck gown of the Willa Rose collection. The back is finished with a lovely art deco silver embellishment.
Estelle is our beautiful art deco inspired off the shoulder gown. Wow your guests with this super body-hugging gown structured to show off feminine curves.
Everly mixes up luscious silks, sheer illusion lace, button detailing and lace V-neck detailing. A delicate stand of pearl buttons drips down the center of the back and joins the sheer material.
Hanna is simply a classic silk gown for the understated modern bride. With it’s beautiful square neckline and thick silk material, t this is the perfect gown for the bride who would love to jazz up a simple dress with loads of accessories.
Harlow unleashes the Gatsby look. The beautiful silk and beaded bodice hugs the figure and leads out to a beautiful fish-tail.
Heather emphasises the colour pallette of choice for the 2016 Willa Rose Collection. The beautiful lace and tulle gown combines a mix of rose pink, antique gold and rich ivory shades.
Kelly is an unassuming gown that looks fabulous with hair piled high in a lovely chignon and a great pair of designer shoes.
Lilac is my personal favourite gown from the collection, this dream-like gown adorned with soft organza flowers over a French lace bodice and full romantic tulle skirt is for all the modern fairytale brides. Embracing ethereal beauty and my signature style.
Lizzie is a super-elegant choice for a traditional wedding with a beautiful lace bateau neckline. Finished with a delicate silk belt and long length silk full skirt. The sheer lace at the back is super-cute and this is a great dress for petite ladies.
Lainey is available in both rose pink and ivory. Layers of tulle with inserts of rose pink, Lainey is subtle and romantic and perfect for the pink loving brides. A brand new, exclusively designed lace is featured on the bodice.
Lola brings sexy back literally with this low back gown. Lola’s daring and flirty low back detail is for the bride who wants to make a real statement and show her curves.
Loveday brings a sheer neckline embellished with delicate lace creating great patterns on the shoulders. The round-cut lace back smooths slowly down into a fishtail skirt.
Lydia is the most traditional gown in the Willa Rose collection with cap sleeves and an organza lace A-line style with an illusion neckline. You can whip off the skirt to create a modern shorter evening gown.
Marguerite’s beautiful feature is her lace sleeves with the lacy illusion sweetheart neckline. The lace detailing circles the middle of the gown before tulle layers fall to the floor.
Marie is a loving mix of lace sheer illusion and A-line tulle stopping below the knee. The gown is finished with a sequinned bow belt.
Maud is a more simplistic gown for the bride who loves the tradition of lace flowing to the floor. Such a yummy gown for a garden wedding in the heat.
Melissa is for the bride who wants the full on wow-factor. A beautiful lace embellished fitted sweetheart bodice opens up to the most amazing skirt that flows along the floor.
Orla has so many divine elements from the v-neck lace deep back to the sheer illusion neckline.
Samantha is a charming straight-skirted lacy gown – a sheer lace paneled back and buttons detailing down the back finish the gown off nicely.
Tarron is a rich mikado gown, which is one of my favourite fabrics to work with in each season. This dress combines a full skirt with box pleats and a beautiful pearl and crystal belt detail. The long train and key hole cut-away back detail is perfect for a bride who wants to make a statement.
