This afternoon on the blog we have a gorgeous autumn wedding styled shoot full of rich tones and truly beautiful styling.
Organised by wedding planner Kristin, who makes up one half of Mr & Mrs W, the shoot was a collaboration of top suppliers from Knutsford to show off the talent that can be found within the North West town.
To give more details on the vision of the shoot and the wedding enthusiasts that were behind it, we’ll hand you over to the lovely Kristin.

kristin says:: The inspiration behind this shoot was to bring together all the wedding suppliers from the town of Knutsford into the absolutely stunning autumnal setting of Tatton Park.
Here in Knutsford you can get everything you need for a stunning wedding day, so we wanted to bring it all together at this spectacular venue to show all the brides-to-be out there, just how special Knutsford is.
When it came to picking a photographer for the shoot, there was nobody else I would ask other than Mark, who is the other half to me and our business. With his fashion and commercial background and his natural wedding photography style, he was perfect for what I wanted to achieve.
Lynette and Jodie from Lynette Page Makeup Artistry, took care of the hair and makeup on the shoot which was an incredibly important aspect as the concept was totally based around colour. They initially created a really fresh look which got stronger as the day went on with further applications and tweaks.
The models’ hair was also key to the look and the reason we chose the stunning Naomi and Gemma to star in the shoot. For extra interest we used an array of hair accessories in the girls’ hair, which were provided by Natty Beez, whose creations are stocked exclusively at The Wedding Boutique Cheshire.
The gorgeous gowns in the shoot also came from The Wedding Boutique Cheshire, where owner Fiona stocks some of the most beautiful dresses and also has her own line – Felicity Cooper Bridal – which also featured.
The flowers, created by Joanne from The White Orchid Floral Boutique, provided another beautiful source of colour through fabulous bouquets and flowers threaded through the models’ hair.
Overall the aim of the shoot was to get strong autumnal images using the colours of nature – we had a bit of a hiccup in the absolutely awful weather – but I think we have shown that you can get pretty outstanding images no matter what the weather and the colours are just what we were aiming for, if not better.
I’m now busy working on a new company for the next stage after marriage which we have just set up at Mr and Mrs W, called WildChildPhotos. Watch this space!
