Living Coral. A Styled Shoot at Sandburn Hall

07th September 2020 | Sarah Symonds

Are you ready for today’s perfectly pretty shoot? We take a closer look as Leeds-based Minihaha gets creative luxe-style, armed with a bright, coral palette and a wicked gang of skilled local suppliers.

The amazingly talented team at Luxe by Minihaha & Co. have certainly created magic for your wedding planning pleasure today, and we’re bringing you all the finer details. We’re being cheered up by pops of bright pinks and coral kissed with gold. The details in the table decor, the sumptuous styling and the incredible detail on that cake! Where The Ribbon Ends never fail to impress us with their unbelievable spreads and this table is no exception. Our mouths are watering as we type!

We’re mad-levels obsessed with this whole vibe; the informal styling, the romantic colour scheme and we just love the idea of serving a brunch al fresco on your wedding day! Inspo indeed!

Minihaha says: The shoot was all based around the colour coral, a beautiful summer wedding colour! We wanted to showcase a more intimate brunch style set up outside and then also show how this could also work indoors on a larger scale. The indoor look would be suited to a larger, afternoon or evening wedding reception.

Sandburn Hall had the loveliest little terrace suitable for the brunch style set up outside. Indoors we were drawn to the huge modern but rustic style space upstairs. The floor to ceiling windows let in the most beautiful light which would allow the bright colours of our shoot to really shine.

Set The Scene Wedding Stylist based everything around the colour coral but with a multitude of tones and colours complementing it. Flashes of gold and darker tones too, in the cake by Where The Ribbon Ends, florals by The Petal Studio, candles and elements on the tables, added depth and a luxury vibe to the tablescape. The stationery by Extra Special Touch had flashes of gold and we particularly liked the use of perspex for stationery and table names, for a unique touch.

The dress was a bespoke design from Perfect Fit Bridal Couture with delicate detail in pastel. The colourful dress really suited Zipporah, our model, and her bright, beautiful personality and most amazing smile, topped with accessories by The Lucky Sixpence.

Jen Eachus our amazing makeup artist, kept the makeup subtle but glam for the outdoor brunch and then added striking coral lips and bolder eyes to our gorgeous model for the indoor, evening part of the shoot.

The amazing, colourful desserts and flowers were just to die for! The team worked really well together, all setting up the brunch tablescape perfectly and we all teamed together again to then transition the look from outdoor brunch to indoor wedding breakfast. All the tones and colours came together beautifully which was a highlight for us all!
