Today’s wedding fashion shoot set at gorgeous Burton Manor is all rustic burnt yellows and oranges, giving us all the autumnal feels and making us crave a Pumpkin Spiced Latte as summer draws to a close (even though it still appears to be 25 degrees outside)!
UNVEILED Network Member Bellissima Brides, who have just moved into an incredible new space in Brimstage, have expanded their range and it’s inspired them to assemble a team of wonderful local suppliers and create a soft, pretty, bohemian vibe. We’re seeing lots of warm tones, loose and undone beauty, happy sunflowers and fun pops of colour but with an underlying understated elegance.

Bellissima Brides say: While weddings have been put on pause, it has been lovely to get together with our fellow suppliers and get creative. We came up with the camper van concept as we wanted to do something different, fun and free.
The shoot took place at Burton Manor, a recently renovated manor house on the Wirral, with magical gardens. On the grounds of the Manor is Flourish Flowers, the florist for the shoot who created some epic bouquets. The shop is beautiful, a floral fairyland to visit and chat about your wedding displays.
The camper van was provided by Hardy’s Catering, who own a fabulous catering and tipi business, and photography was captured by the talented Madison Picture. Their dark but soft tones fitted the brief perfectly.
As Flourish flowers is based at Burton Manor, Angela is always championing their incredible gardens. We wanted large open spaces and a mix of scenery. It was a perfect choice and didn’t disappoint. The venue really is a hidden gem.
We went for a wild and free theme. A little nod to the rustic trend but slightly prettier. We hope to inspire couples planning a tipi, barn or outdoor wedding and there are lots of beautiful ideas to take from the shots.
We went for fun, sexy and whimsical dresses. Madi Lane was the main designer of choice, their laid-back look is stunning and a winner amongst our brides. We wanted to show a full ivory gown and one with a blush undertone to show brides the choice they can have.
We then chose a show-stopper from Hayley Paige, the Harley gown. This is an off the shoulder striped gown and is super light and easy to move in.
Hair was created by Nicola Joyce, who went for fun, undone looks. Makeup was done by the models themselves as we were restricted due to COVID-19 guidance.
We would usually have fittings in the boutique and share gown ideas with each other but Nicola worked her genius just from images and created two styles with lots of texture, plaits and braids to add detail and show the different tones in the model’s hair. Nicola used both a curling wand and curling tong to create two types of waves. Then she finished using texture spray and volume power to add body to the hair for a relaxed look.
We were so lucky the weather was so gorgeous on the day, creating some beautiful light.
A real highlight was getting to know a venue most of us had never visited before, we really hope to work there more. As a group of suppliers who have worked together in the past, we really get on well so it is always like a little reunion and lots of fun.
