In need of a little boho wedding inspiration? You’ve come to the right place! Hold on for some super pretty styling today as we head to Barlow Woodseats Hall where the team behind this shoot are giving us the serious wedding warm and cosies!
We’ve been chatting to UNVEILED Network Member Eve – of Tiptoe With Eve – a fun and relaxed photographer based in South Yorkshire who loves to document the natural goings on of a wedding day. Eve, along with Sarah of Sarah B Weddings & Events and a group of other incredible suppliers, created a stunning, rustic setup on the edge of the Peak District.
Featuring a symphony of burnt olive tones and all-natural hues, bringing in some intriguing texture and the warmth of coloured glass, with the addition of the macramé and earthy terracotta. The vision for the shoot really sets off the historical Northern venue, all seen through Eve’s lens with her signature dark and dreamy style of editing.
The impact of natural wood, metallic copper sweet treats and bold, dried floral decor contrast beautifully with the softness of the Elizabeth Malcolm gown. We love the addition of the bespoke lace top, fully inspired by the shoot’s styling, to complete the look, and the fluttery cap sleeves with loose romantic hair and makeup is ultimate feminine bridal goals.
Over to you and the team, Eve!

CONCEPT
Eve says: Boho meets rustic. We wanted to mix boho vibes with a rustic element to blend in with the original charm of the venue. The mood board we chose was very much about textures and earthy tones.
LOCATION
We chose Barlow Woodseats Hall for the shoot as the boho rustic vibe matched perfectly with both the venue and the interior of the barn.
STYLING
As part of the styling, Sarah B Weddings & Events chose some macramé pieces in natural colours with copper and wood accents to keep the on trend look with the florals. She added soft chiffons in burnt olive to the macramé on the backdrop and tablescape, along with yellow glass and grey crockery matched perfectly. Sarah is a South Yorkshire based weddings and events stylist who loves to bring unique elements together, turning your vision into reality.
The florals were carefully selected to not only enhance the rustic look and feel of the barn location, but also to complement the bohemian styling of the shoot. Colours were kept earthy and natural, but with an autumnal terracotta twist. We combined a mixture of both dried and fresh flowers to keep the styling on trend by using pampas grass, pheasant feathers, dried bracken and teasels together with the most beautiful roses and anthuriums. The dried flowers were from Botanicals Floristry and included pampas grass for the boho feel. Botanicals is a South Yorkshire based wedding florist providing a bespoke floral design service. They thrive on delivering the most beautiful blooms for your special day, from the smallest details in your buttonholes and hair flowers, through to large installations and statement pieces.
Pink Peppercorn Cakes are based in Bawtry, Doncaster, offering bespoke wedding cake design, and a range of sweet treats and wedding favours. The cake was a two tier buttercream cake with stencilling and smudges of peach and terracotta, and in keeping with the Luxe Boho theme, we added some 24 carat gold leaf.

ATTIRE
The fabulous Elizabeth Malcolm frocks included in this shoot were chosen to complement the boho theme running throughout. Long flowing lines, relaxed cool vibes and, as a bonus, they decided to create a beautiful new lace top especially for this wonderful shoot. Sarah described how she was creating macramé backdrops and table runners and it reminded Lizzie of a lace she had seen with beautiful detailing. Perfect for the style!

Amy says: “When Sarah asked me if I would like to be involved in the shoot and sent over the inspirational mood board, I said yes immediately! The whole feel of it was right up my street! I pictured a chunky bohemian braid with a soft romantic feel to it, and flowers and feathers to tie it in with the colours of the rest of the shoot, and my model’s hair was perfect for it!
The style I chose to create for this shoot was a soft, romantic low bun with a loose textured look. I felt it really showcased not only the statement flower crown headpiece I got to work with, but also the dresses, the model, the whole style of the shoot and the rustic feel of the venue. I think this style can be very versatile for any bride as it can be done with either a smooth or a loose texture, as I did on the day, and the soft placing of the hair around the face gives it such a timeless romantic feel. Perfect for any bride who prefers an updo wedding style.”
