Well, hello there!
Hi! I’m Becki of All You Need Is Love, a Yorkshire based UK wedding photographer for fun-loving couples.
How do you build relationships with your couples?
It’s great to chat with my couples. The more I know about them and their plans, the easier it is to fit in on the day and do a great job. I love catching up over Zoom, in person or on the phone. Communication is key! I like to keep couples up to date with my work via social media. I love meeting couples at the Brides Up North wedding fair too.
What sets you apart from other photographers?
I guess it’s my dazzling personality, commitment to making my couples laugh and feel at ease (with ridiculous jokes) and unrelenting ambition to ‘wow’ couples with images from their wedding day!
Do you have a favourite part of the day to capture?
CONFETTI. What’s not to love about this part of any wedding day? It’s both hilarious and colourful. Capturing images of guests throwing stuff at couples is just awesome.
Where does your work take you?
I think York and Yorkshire have some of the most beautiful wedding venues but my work sees me traveling all over the world. I definitely can’t complain, I absolutely love traveling and exploring new cities. Though home is where the heart is and I am a Yorkshire lass.
What would be your top tips for couples searching for a wedding photographer?
I think it’s really important to find the right photographer that you like and trust. So personality and style is what makes each photographer unique. My top tips are:
- Chat to them in person or via Zoom. Make sure you get on with them and they get what’s important to you. It should be relaxed and easy to chat with them.
- Check their work has the finished look you want. There are many different styles of images, both the way they are captured and how they are edited. Go with the style that suits you best and will look awesome hung on your walls at home.
- Make sure they offer everything you want, like prints, albums, video, unlimited hours etc.
And the absolute no-nos?
- Avoid awkwardness. Don’t book a photographer you don’t get on with.
- Don’t leave it too late. Photographers get booked up fast. If you want the photographer of your dreams, act fast
- Don’t forget to read your contract with them before signing. Make sure you are happy with their terms.
