As well as being a wedding photographer my background is as a UN award winning photojournalist, having worked for some of the world’s most prestigious editorial clients. Getty Images, The Times and The Daily Telegraph have trusted me to cover breaking news events and state occasions, and to capture striking images of celebrities, top politicians and royalty. During my time, I have photographed subjects in almost every kind of light, weather, environment and emotional situation you can imagine – all to the minute-critical print deadlines of the front pages.
Now I enjoy being invited into people’s special day… and having the creative freedom to capture elegant and timeless images that tell your story. I am sensitive and discreet, quietly observing your wedding to capture a spontaneous and relaxed record of your wedding day.
The majority of what I will capture will be the candid reportage you’ll cherish forever, but it’s always important to have some stylish portraiture too. I’ll photograph the two of you together, but it will be relaxed and spontaneous – and I’ll be quick so you can get back to your guests. If requested, we can shoot some groups of special people in your life, as i know often parents & grandparents really like to have these. Nobody likes hanging around and posing for ages so I’ll make it fun and quick so you can then enjoy the party.

We are overjoyed with the photographs Bethany took of our wedding. She has an amazing eye and we have a beautiful album that really captures the essence of our wedding day, bringing back lots of lovely memories. Most of the time she blended into the background so much we didn't even realise we were being photographed which meant she caught some fantastic relaxed shots which were very reflective of character and personality. We found Bethany by chance on Instagram and she was one of the first wedding suppliers we booked because her style was so perfect for us and we loved her photos. We couldn’t be happier with the photos she took for our wedding day. They are just perfect! We are not the type of couple who are comfortable in front of the camera and were a bit nervous about this part of the wedding but she made us feel so at ease and relaxed - we loved having her there to capture our big day and we feel so lucky to have found her.
