Ryan Browne Photography

lights, camera, magic…

My approach is simple. I create natural, documentary-style images to capture the complete story of your day.

My photography is unique. I don’t follow trends or look at what other photographers are doing. Why? Because I know what matters to you most is having a stunning set of bespoke images that capture the feelings, emotions, and atmosphere of the day.

I specialise in creating spectacular images using natural light and the environment around me – and I’ll go to any lengths to get the perfect shot. I love capturing the simple intimacy of the day – the nervous excitement as you’re getting ready, that moment you meet at the altar, that tiny reassuring hand squeezes, and the tears and laughter of your guests. And, once the sun’s gone down and everyone’s busy on the dancefloor, I’ll steal you away for a dramatic after-dark shoot that will give your finished album that added WOW factor.

If you’re looking for a relaxed, friendly and experienced photographer to share your day, then I’m your guy.

Couples love working with me because I’m fun, easy-going, and discreet. It’s my job to blend in so that you stand out. And, if you’re nervous about having your pictures taken, don’t be. We’ll get to know each other before your wedding day so that you feel totally at ease.

Over the years I’ve won many awards and had my work featured in magazines such as OK! and Cosmopolitan.

I’m also the wedding photographer of choice for prestigious venues including Hodsock Priory, and Swinton Park.

But accolades aside, what matters to me most, is the reaction I get from couples when they see their day retold in breath-taking images. And whether I’m shooting the wedding of a Premiership footballer at a high-end city venue or childhood sweethearts at the village church, my energy and passion for capturing the story will always be the same.

We were so pleased with the photographs he took; we were keen to have lots of natural images of our guests, with not too many ‘staged’ photos. That’s exactly what we got; we feel that the photographs really captured the many lovely moments of our wedding day, reflecting the happy and funny moments of the day. Yukiko & Alex, Highclere Castle
Ryan was highly recommended by the Events Advisor at Swinton Park. The photographs that Ryan captured are fantastic. He had innovative ideas and we were happy to work with his suggestions (and I’m so glad we did because the creative/unusual pictures he took will be treasured forever). I can’t really say much more, other than, you won’t regret letting him be your photographer! He’s brilliant. Gemma & Ian, Swinton Park
His pictures have a lot of drama and are very extravagant. We booked Ryan Browne as our photographer as we were very impressed by his portfolio. His pictures have a lot of drama and are very extravagant. This worked perfectly for our venue and the moments we wanted to capture. Ryan had taken photos at our venue before, as well as at similar, grand venues, and we were confident from the start that he would be the best photographer for us. It was very comforting to have Ryan shooting our wedding as we made sure to capture it all! He was very well-dressed, so he blended into our wedding party very well. He is very experienced and it shows. This was crucial for the wedding as we had many different settings/moments and he guided us through each of those moments. We really loved his passion for photography, that really stood out on the day. It was great as he made us take lots of pictures that we probably would not have thought of it had not been there. Ryan was able to help us make the most of the different lighting conditions throughout the day, take control of unruly guests wandering into our photoshoots, and he also worked very well with our videographer. We highly recommend Ryan Browne to anyone looking for a top-notch, professional wedding photographer. Mina & Hary, Duncombe Park
